Roberta O’Connell has been a licensed real estate salesperson since 2006 and works out of the Rockville Centre Howard Hanna-Coach Realtors’ office. While purchasing her first home, Roberta’s first interaction with real estate included terribly unpleasant and dismissive service and vowed to never be "that agent." Offering compassion and empathy to all her clients, Roberta’s greatest asset is the ability to listen to and decipher the needs of a buyer or seller and treating people the way she would want her own family treated. Before real estate, Roberta held a diverse corporate background and she brings her professionalism, organization, and time management skills, as well as a drive to succeed! Another skill Roberta adds to her toolbox is the Certified Buyer Representative designation which gives her the abilities necessary to help a buyer find their desired property and to help them negotiate for that property in an efficient, yet non-adversarial manner

Roberta had a long involvement with Rockville Centre Mercy League, an organization to benefit and fundraise for Mercy Hospital in Rockville Centre. She served as Vice-President and President of the League and continued work on the Council level. It was especially rewarding when financial goals were reached. She is now serving the Community as a Care Counselor with the Rockville Centre Breast Cancer Coalition, offering support and resources to those presently going through the journey from diagnosis, treatment, and aftercare. As a Breast Cancer Survivor, this is especially dear to her heart. When Roberta isn’t helping people with real estate, she enjoys traveling and boating, and spending time with her family and friends.
